Katie Harker moved to Pennsylvania from Montana at the age of 22. On the very long drive she photographed everything and called her photos 'drive by shootings'. This began her long journey to becoming a professional photographer.
In 2003 Katie married Bill and together they bought a house and she graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2005.
While teaching Pre-School she received many compliments for her photographs of the students and the seed began to grow. After one year of Pre-School and many long discussions with her husband it was decided that she would attend the Hallmark Institute of Photography.
As a member of the 2007 graduationg class she continues to photograph children, animals, weddings and landscapes in Chester County, Pennsylvania outside of West Chester.
